40! FOUR-TY!
Can't really believe it. It's a milestone, for sure. One I'm embracing. What other choice do you have, really? I'm excited about what the future holds. I have a wonderful husband, whom God (finally) saw fit to bless me with, two littles who have made my heart grow a hundred million times bigger than I ever thought possible, friends who have shown me what life & love are about & our extended family, who continue to be there for every milestone & every little event in between.
I was lucky enough to marry someone who has a birthday the day before mine. So every year we get to celebrate together! Last night it was a joint birthday dinner at Nonna with all of our family.
We'll have more celebrating together this weekend.
Today, I'm planning a little shopping and lunch with my favorite baby girl. If she's able to wake up from her nap sometime soon.
If not, we'll snuggle until it's time to pick up brother. Snuggle time.
No better gift than that for a mama on her birthday.
Thanking God for another year! It feels good to be forty.
