1st Family Road Trip

New car seat in tow, we packed up & headed out to Broken Bow, OK for the weekend with Matt's family. We said we were going camping, but I use that term very loosely. We didn't stay in tents, we stayed in a 2100 sq ft. log cabin. And when I say log cabin, I mean a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath house, complete with pool table & hot tub. It was beautiful. We were right next to Beaver's Bend State Park, so we headed there on Saturday, to take Levi for his first train ride. We saw some horses & walked around the Kaniatobe Trails area & snapped a few photos. Matt smoked 3 racks of ribs & about 10lbs of brisket for us all. I'm serious when I say he could go into the restaurant business. It was the most delicious meat any of us had ever had.
All in all, it was a nice first 'camping' trip.
And we were very glad to be back in our own beds last night.

We went there for Jessica's bachelorette! So pretty and my kind of "roughing it." :)
