Thanks to a gift package from my brother for our birthdays, (yes, back in April), Matt & I were able to catch the last live races of the year out at Lone Star Park. We had a good table where we could see the race & watch the TCU game, all at the same time. Turns out, the horses did much better than our team, but it was still fun.

We also recently had a chance to meet some friends at the new Kyle Warren park downtown! It was super neat & we'll be going back, for sure. Tons of green space & a nice playground area for the kids. The food trucks were awesome & so was the wading pool.
