A group of friends from high school came together this past weekend, to celebrate our turning 40 this year. There were only 4 of us who were able to make it, but it was perfect. We had a great time just relaxing! We parked the car when we got there on Friday afternoon & didn't leave the property until Sunday. We stayed at a B&B outside of Austin. The Inn Above Onion Creek was everything we'd hoped. We had a house apart from the main inn, all to ourselves. The staff was so welcoming, the pool was relaxing, the food was AMAZING. We hung out by the pool all day on Saturday, (after getting massages). We leisurely had dinner & wine & dessert & finished conversations & laughed & slept! We caught up & remembered old stories & told new ones & met sweet people & had some down time. We all needed it. Hope we can make it a more regular occurrence. There was another group there, celebrating their 50th! I see a reunion in the making!
