Reading Recommendation

I started following Kelle Hampton's blog a while back.  I pre-ordered this book & received it a couple weeks ago.  I finished it in about a week.  It only took that long, because I had to put it down every so often & let my heart mend from the aching & sobbing & then realign with the joy brought on by each step of Kelle's story. After working in the public schools, and with several children over the years who had Down's Syndrome, I relished the honesty & integrity of this book.  I wish every teacher & therapist & mother would read it.

“Bloom is one of the most emotionally stirring books I’ve ever read…. This story is a reminder that perfect, when it comes to human beings, is such a relative (and irrelevant) term…and that a mother’s love for her child is a powerful, eternal, unshakable force.”

-REE DRUMMOND, NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF THE PIONEER WOMAN COOKS
