We marked a milestone of sorts this week, as we enrolled Levi in a Mother's Day Out program for next fall. I toured a few places, and nothing compared to what I saw at the one we decided on. It felt secure & loving & professional. Each classroom posted their schedule outside the room, as well as the lesson plan for the week. Their day includes gross motor & fine motor activities, art, music, play time, lunch & nap time - all centered around a Christian curriculum.
Now I just have about 6 months to get used to the idea of leaving him somewhere two days a week. I'm sure I'll need more reassurance than he will. I just pray Levi will love making new friends & realizing some independence from Mama.
