Our wedding anniversary is July 12th, 2008. Levi was born July 9, 2009. See where I'm going with this? That's right, we spent our 1st anniversary in the hospital. (And I never looked better.) So, after a gift exchange and another dose of pain meds, that celebration was pretty much over. That's one of the reasons I'm looking forward to this NY trip next month. It will give us a chance to look back, regroup, & toast to a fantastic year... as well as give thanks for all we have to look forward to.
