Losses

This summer has seen the end of several greats... Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, and now John Hughes. Maybe not quite as well known as some, but what an impact he had on my generation. He was responsible for so many of our 'classics'. Who needs Rhett and Scarlett, when we have Andie and Duckie, Samantha and Jake, Keith and Watts, Ferris and Sloane... and of course the entire Breakfast Club. I will, at some point, show all of these 'greats' to my son. At which time I'll probably hear, 'oh mom, again with these dumb old teenage movies?' Yes Levi. Because these movies helped define a generation of funny, individualistic, hope-filled, sappy adults.
